wearing clothes helps fight against human trafficking

Blythe Hill started wearing clothes in December 2009. Little did she know that it would be a story from rags to riches.

Hill brought Dresember what she called "heart" to raise money to fight human trafficking.

This year, 8,000 people have pledged more than $1.3 million to three organizations — the A21 campaign, the International Justice Mission and the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center — to help the cause.

“Will & Grace” star Debra Messing and actress Lola Kirke are among the devotees.

“I was about 19 years old when I started learning about human trafficking and was horrified that slavery not only exists but is a thriving criminal industry,” the 32-year-old Hill told Moneyish.

"I felt so powerless to do anything to fight him, I'm not a policeman, a lawyer or a social worker."
